💔 Wedding Celebration Ends in Tragedy in Turkey

In northern Turkey, a wedding celebration turned into heartbreak when the groom lost his life due to celebratory gunfire.

What Happened?

  • Groom Ali K., 23, had just finished his wedding ceremony.

  • During the traditional escort home, a 47-year-old female relative from the bride’s side fired a pistol into the air.

  • One bullet struck the groom, killing him instantly.

🚔 Aftermath

  • Police arrested the woman.

  • Two handguns were recovered from her garden.

  • Prosecutors have launched an investigation.

⚠️ A Dangerous Tradition
In Turkey’s Black Sea region, firing guns at weddings is still seen as a form of celebration. But the risks are deadly.

  • Just last week in Trabzon, one person was killed and two others— including a police officer—were injured during a similar incident.

  • That wedding had to be canceled entirely.
