At a recent EU conference, a professor dropped a reality check:
👉AI isn’t here to save the world.
👉 But it’s more than strong enough to bulldoze people with only “mid” skills.

Translation: if your job is just about following checklists, copy–pasting, or asking Google the obvious — you might want to start worrying.

Who’s Most at Risk?

    If your entire workday is Ctrl+C → Ctrl+V, you’re basically feeding AI its favorite snack.

  • “Google It For Me” People
    Workers whose problem-solving toolkit = type a question into a search bar and hope for the best.

  • Low-Effort Thinkers
    Folks who avoid critical thinking, experimentation, or learning new tools — AI eats this attitude alive.

Why This Happens

AI doesn’t need to be perfect to win. It only needs to be:

  • Faster than average.

  • Cheaper than average.

  • Good enough to replace “mid” workers.

  • Train Critical Thinking
    Don’t just accept answers — question them, connect dots, and push for “why.”

    AI can remix, but humans still dominate in original leaps of thought.

    Use it to accelerate your workflow, not to replace your brain.

  •  Invest in Human Skills
    Emotional intelligence, storytelling, strategy, and bold ideas are still the hardest for machines to fake.
