🚀 The Day I Tried to Be a “Morning Person”
People on the internet always say:
“Wake up at 5 AM, do yoga, meditate, read 10 pages, drink green tea, and your life will change.”
So… I tried.
🌅 5:00 AM – The Alarm
The alarm rang.
I opened one eye, saw the darkness, and immediately questioned my life choices.
Who wakes up when even the sun is still asleep?
🧘 5:15 AM – Meditation
I sat down to meditate.
They said “empty your mind.”
Well, my mind was empty… but only because I was still half-asleep.
☕ 5:30 AM – Green Tea
They said green tea gives you energy.
It didn’t.
It just reminded me how much I missed coffee.
📚 6:00 AM – Reading
I opened a book.
Read one page.
Next thing I knew, I was reading the back of my eyelids.
🌞 9:00 AM – Reality
I woke up again, this time naturally.
Conclusion: maybe I’m not a “5 AM person.”
And that’s fine. Because sometimes the best version of yourself… wakes up at 9.
👉 Moral of the story: Don’t force yourself to follow every “life hack” online.
Find your own rhythm. Even if it starts after sunrise.
